B&B Centro Storico Lecce

The location is perfect for exploring Lecce, and our room was spacious with comfy beds. Loved the cute vibe from the staff, especially "Nonna" Nora, she kept everything super clean! Only downside? No onsite breakfast on Mondays.

My room was clean and beautiful with iron and ironing board, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk. The atmosphere created was quiet. It was right in the heart of Lecce, and a super close walk to San Matteo;))

Air conditioning could be improved

The B&B Centro Storico in Lecce was like a cozy escape in a historic setting. The spacious rooms came with modern amenities, and the rooftop terrace was perfect for unwinding with fine views. Discovering the area was easy thanks to the helpful local recommendations from Filippo, the host. Breakfast vouchers for a nearby café added a unique charm, although it lacked an American-style breakfast option. The building's charm came with a bit of a workout, climbing two flights of stairs to access our room. This could be challenging for those with mobility issues. Another note, the rooftop jacuzzi required reservations and came with additional costs, unexpected. The charm and ambiance were great, despite a couple of hiccups.

Although the location was ideal, I found the mattress rather uncomfortable, difficult to get a good night's sleep. While the host was reachable via WhatsApp, I expected more personal interaction during check-in. There were multiple keys needed for various doors.

Plus, the charming atmosphere really added to the whole vibe. It was located right in the heart of the old city. Only downside was dealing with a few keys for different doors, which got a bit complicated.

Alberto was super helpful, giving us local tips for sites like the Roman Amphitheater and Basilica di Santa Croce. Don't miss the nearby pastry shop for breakfast treats. Perfect spot for exploring!
